Switchers World's Photo Gallery


Here I present pictures of the Switchers World. The photos are taken from the very beginning and shall allow the reader to see the development process. Click on a picture to enlarge to around 832x624 pixels.

The module has arrived at home and got the printed track plan layed out and some models to get a first impression (and to verify that the module's size is correct....).

Module with printed track plan. It's hard to see but this is a view on the printed track plan and (bottom right) a template for drilling he holes for the electrical connections.
Holes for conrols
The holes with a diameter of 45mm are made. The white sheet is a 3mm styrene sheet which get holes for mounting the turnount controls, etc.
The Controls
Here we see three sort of controls: an electricity control (for lights or other stuff, a turnout control, and the main control with the incoming current plugs, ther throtttle plug and an indication LED for the current.

My Switching Extension extents the available space for my railroad.

A GP 7/9 fits exactly on a Switching Extension.
